Orion House
You will not fail to be impressed by Orion House. It's a magnificent Grade II* Listed Georgian townhouse. Buildings are graded to show their relative architectural or historic interest and, according to English Hertiage, Grade II* are particularly important buildings of more than special interest; along with Grade I buildings they comprise 10% of all protected buildings. The premises are found at the prestigious address of Barn Hill, Stamford - a quite residential area just 2 minutes walk from the town centre. The spectacular main entrance is off the cobbled street of Barn Hill with additional access from the car park to the rear of the property; both entrances connect to the Centre's reception. The centrepiece of the property is an impressive gallery staircase, which overlooks the reception. Spread over 3 floors, Orion House has been sympathetically modernised to provide office suites comfortably accommodating 2 to 6 persons and a boardroom.
In keeping with the building's ambience, original works of art are displayed throughout the building, including offices if clients wish. These pictures are by local artist Joanna Crawford and are available for purchase (sales are arranged direct with Joanna).
Secured with an electronic door entry system and a modern intruder alarm system, residential clients have 24/7 access to the premises. As you would expect, we have a modern fire alarm system throughout the premises. Our state-of-the-art digital telephone system connects with the offices, as does our local area network, and offers a VOIP arrangement for connection to off-site locations (home, other offices, etc). Orion House has recently been adapted to offer disabled access and facilities (on ground floor level).
